A diaristic piece that explores the notion of time passing through my daily internal wonderings and movements.
Each day for 2 months the date, time and whatever thought/emotion presented itself was written onto paper and imbedded in resin.
This piece works as a personal archive that places emphasis on the human condition, repetition and the passing of time through ones own subjective experience.
Each cognitive shift happening daily is somewhat preserved. This enabling that cognitive state to be revisited within another time and space.

An on-going photographic series exploring the atmospheric shifts continuously happening within time and space.
The intention behind this work is to construct visual narratives produced through repetition, by photographing the same subject, from the same location over a set duration.
The subject remains planted, therefore it is what surrounds the subject that becomes the focus of intrigue.
Series One: St Poelten (2017) x 31 Photographs, Duration: 31 days
Series Two: Morocco (2017) x 19 Photographs
Series Three: Barcelona (2017) x 77 Photographs
Each time I am halted, a photograph is taken.
Captivated by the intimate winter nights journey made from my Mothers house to my to Oma's house. Physically I am held, waiting, yet my mind is in a constant state of reflective flux.

Through the unconscious state of sleeping, the passing of time is given form and made tangible.
In order to map each unconscious movement made during sleep, a piece of paper was placed upon the entire bed for 10 nights straight. Each crease in the paper then becomes a reflection of each movement made during these passing hours.
The process of sleeping is very much individualised however relative to this existence and our humanity. My desire was to see subjectively how my physical self moved whilst unconscious.

To quiet the mind, each night, I draw.
All lifeforms are in an inevitable state of progression.
We are interwoven within the fleeting nature of time.
Observe the ephemeral sequences from life to decay.
